The objective of the sport is to see who can heave the heaviest load of weights.

  • Wrist wraps help prevent injury to the wrists.

Pyrros Dimas

Pyrros is considered one of the greatest weightlifters of all time. He has won gold at the Olympics three times. He won bronze in his fourth Olympics because of a knee injury. He is also a three time World Champion. He was named Greek Male Athlete of the year in the years 1992,1993,1995, and 1996. He started weightlifting when he was just 11 years old and competed at  the junior level at 14. When he was 18 he became a triple champion of Albania.
