Trampolines perform a series of acrobatics on a trampoline similar to gymnastics. Thrill of the sport is performing cool tricks such as somersaults, twists, pikes, and other acrobatics.

How to Play

The objective is to perform a complex routine on the trampoline getting scores based on the difficulty and the time spent in the air. The athlete with the most points wins.

  • Duos- two trampolines in synchronized competition.

Equipment Requirements

  • Trampoline springboards (depending on specific competition)
  • Spring pads
  • Floor mats to cushion the impact in case the athlete falls.
  • Safety nets to protect the athlete in case they fall.
  • Gymnastic uniform
  • Beam shoes that are ultralight in weight and provide a positive reaction when tumbling on the trampoline.

Katherine “Kat” Driscoll

Kat started trampoline when she was just seven years old. In 1998, she competed in her first competition at the World Age Games. She finally became a full-time trampolinist in 2010. The following year, Driscoll received her first major honor as the British team finished second in the World Championships in Birmingham.
