Pickleball is a combination of badminton, ping-pong and tennis. Players can either play indoors or outdoors on a badminton-size court with a tennis size net. Players use a paddle the size of a ping-pong paddle but bigger in size.

How to Play

The objective of the game is for opponents to smack the ball over the net and a team doesn’t score a point until the other team fails to return the ball back. The best way to be successful in Pickleball is to have a good serve, ground stroke, dink, dropshot, volley, lob and overhead. Ground stroke is players being able to handle and sustain long rallies. Dinking is shooting short shots must be short and low. A drop shot is like a dink it its hitting the ball far enough past the net but not far enough where the opponents have a chance to hit the ball in return. Being able to volley is hitting the ball before it hits the ground. A lob is when the ball goes over the opponents head.

Sports Role(s)

Players can either play in singles or doubles. The roles include the server and the returner.

Equipment Requirements
