Lacrosse is a team sport played with a stick that is usually mesh or net and a lacrosse ball.
The objective of the game is to shoot the ball into the opposing team’s goal. The team with the most points.
Kristen started playing lacrosse in high school and in 2003 she was recruited by the Northwestern women’s lacrosse team. She made her debut in 2004 playing 18 games. From 2005-2007 she was named Inside Lacrosse National Rookie of the Year, Co-National Rookie of the Year led Northwestern to 53 goals, and won 3 straight national championships. She was the first lacrosse player to be named the Tewaaraton Trophy winner of the year.
