Kickboxing is a form of martial arts that consists of kicking and punching, with your hands and feet.

How to Play

The objective of Kickboxing is to knock out your opponent by using various techniques of kicking and punching. The opponent who knocks out their opponent wins. If no one is knocked out, the judges will decide by giving points to the opponent who displays the best technique and skills throughout the fight. In order to be the best fighter you must be good at defense, by being able to block hits from their opponent. They must also be skilled at the offense by being able to throw hard punches and/or kicks. A player must also have good timing.

Sports Role(s)

The kickboxer is the only role to play. Two opponents have to fight each other per match.

Equipment Requirements

  • Mouth guard
  • Hand wraps
  • 10 oz boxing gloves 
  • A groin guard 
  • shin pads
  • Kick boots 
  • A protective helmet (16 years and younger)

All of equipment are used to protect each player from being seriously injured.

John Wayne Parr

By age 11 John was training in Taekwondo and won 2 silver medals. In 1988 he lost the final and by 1990 he got into kickboxing. He had his first fight when he was 14 years old. John participated in professional kickboxing bouts when he was 16 years old and won the Australian title at age 17. He won 4 World kickboxing associations champions, 1 World Kickboxing Federation champion, 1 World Kickboxing Network champion, he was a Lion Fight title contender, International Kickboxer Magazine champion, K-1 two time final 8 and finalist, and WKBA champion. He became fighter of the year in 2004 by Ironlife Magazine. Also in 2004 fighter of the year by international Kickboxing Magazine. In 1997 was Best Farang fighter in Thailand. He retired around 2012 on a 4 fight winning streak.
