Resistance bands—made out of latex or rubber—are long ropes with handles.

How to Use

To use the resistance band, your hands must be gripped to the handle of each end of the rope. A third grip of any kind needs to hold onto the cable to create resistance. Your hands will pull the cable meanwhile the third grip will hold it in place.

Type of Resistance

There are different resistance based on the length and thickness of the rope. The thicker the rope, the tougher it is to stretch it apart. The longer the rope, the more you are able to stretch it apart.
